I love to read mysteries and romance novels. This book has both. The characters came alive in my mind I wanted to know how their lives would entertwine. this is a book that can entertain people of all ages. read if for yourself and step into the mystery.
This was a very fun book to read. The morals and ethics of this mystery are wonderful, as so many emotions are played out that you feel as though you become a part of it. Looking forward to the next book. Good job to the author.
For a first time (mystery) author, I thought this was an excellent book. It kept my interest and kept me guessing until almost the end. The characters were true-to-life and not just one dimensional; their pain and happiness was easy to understand. The storyline was not the complicated, the-reader-needs-a-scorecard type I have read from other authors. The simple twists and turns added to the mysterious tale the author was telling. If you are looking for a story that not only keeps you on your toes, but tugs at your emotions, this is the book for you. Well done, Ms. Field.
I liked the idea of the story so dove in with high expectations. Those were not met. The story had very little structure/feeling to it. It was a lot of he said/she said, formatted like statements but without a real structure behind it. I was hoping it would improve but it was like that the entire book. Glad it was free.
Too sappy. Pretty much knew the ending. Very Easy to skip through. Not really a mystery. Murder she didn't write.
A gentle cozy who-dunnit, with an interesting albeit familiar setting behind the scenes at a Goodwill store. The ending is a bit contrived, but who doesn't love a happy ending?
